A Rich History:
Birthed from the dedication of a committee in Ramaḍān 1989, our school came to life on 16th January 1990 with an initial batch of 150 eager learners and 14 passionate staff members.
Our growth story is impressive! From 150 learners, we've grown to approximately 750 students today, guided by a team of 73 proficient teachers.
We take pride in having graduated over 1400 matriculants, and we celebrate the accomplishment of more than 100 learners who've completed the Ḥifẓ of the Qur’an.
State-Of-The-Art Facilities:
Designed by the awardwinning architect, Mr. Aziz Tayob, our school expanded over the years, now boasting 40 classrooms, an administration block, comprehensive science and computer labs, a library and advanced ICT-equipped classrooms.
Our sports facilities are exceptional, with a sports stadium, viewing podium, netball/volleyball court, three astro turf fields, two halls, an outdoor gym, obstacle course and a Lapa.
Miscellaneous Activities:
Junior Ranger Program: The Junior Ranger Program, affiliated with South African National Parks, offers boys aged 11 to 13 a unique three-year experience. Training courses, day outings, and overnight camps focus on the natural environment and essential life skills, presented by expert instructors. Core topics include survival, culinary skills, wildlife tracking and emergency response. Membership is by invitation, ensuring a dedicated and engaged group of participants.
42nd Laudium Muslim Scouts: Since 1997, the 42nd Laudium Muslim Cub Scouts have been hosting weekly programs at TMS. Proudly affiliated with the World Scouting Movement, the largest youth program in the world, our activities are led by dedicated, trained volunteers. Open to boys and girls aged 7 to 11 years, the three-year program fosters independence in a non-competitive, outdoor environment. Scouts cover a broad range of skills, including community service, aptitude building, conservation and camping & hiking. The aim is to make learning fun and engaging through various games and activities.
