
Overview
Darus Salaam Primary Madrasah, originally known as Madrasah Miftaahul Uloom, began in 1970 to meet the Islamic educational needs in Laudium. It started with 60 students and peaked in the 1980s with over 600 students and 25 teachers. Now located in the Darus Salaam complex, the Madrasah serves over 120 students from Grade R to Grade 10, with 3 ʿUlamā' and 5 ʿĀlimāt, under the supervision of the Jamiatul Ulama Taalimi Board.
